August is in the middle of winter, and knowing that there would be 3 great sunny days, we hired a car to explore Auckland, visiting the areas where we are thinking of buying a house. The weather was comparable to a Dutch summer day !!! (Yes, really). Titirangi is up in the bush hills, and Howick and Orewa are on the east coast, with magnificant sea views.The last photo .... Gerrie took a photo as I drove along the motorway. On this camera, you push the button, and then about 10 seconds later, it takes the photo. In that photo, that damn pole was exactly in the wrong place at that moment ... it obscures Auckland's famous Sky Tower !!!! And no way to go back and take the photo again. |
